Llangollen Canal Boat Hire - Our First Narrowboat Cruise

Although we are now continuous cruising liveaboards on our own 60 foot narrowboat, it all started when we hired a narrowboat for a week long holiday on the Llangollen canal in 1998 - Jean & Graham Beven

Narrowboat 'Rhonwen' pictured left in her new livery, is a two berth double steel narrowboat around 35ft (10.67m) that was operated by Mystermynd, Whittington, Shropshire then but is now owned by a close neighbour Welsh Lady Cruisers, Whittington, Shropshire.

Rhonwen's steering position is on the cruiser style stern by the way of a tiller.

This boat has the following included in the hire now: Duvets and bed linen, Central heating, TV CD/Radio, 12v socket for mobile phone etc (12v car lead required), Helmsman's waterproofs, all fuel and the use of a hair dryer is free of charge with Rhonwen.
